UAE finds new natural gas field between Abu Dhabi, Dubai

The United Arab Emirates, a leading OPEC producer, announced the discovery of huge gas reserves.

Abu Dhabi National Oil Co said about 80 trillion cubic feet of shallow gas resources were discovered between the emirates of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the largest of the 7-member UAE.

The UAE consists of 7 emirates : Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al-Khaimah and Umm Al-Quwain.
