Bhawna Jat qualifies in 20-km race-walk for Tokyo Olympics 2020

India's Bhawna Jat qualified for the 2020 Olympics after setting a new national record in the 20-kilometer race walk category at the National Championships in Ranchi.

The athlete from Rajasthan clocked 1 hour 29 minutes and 54 seconds, well inside the Olympic qualification time of 1 hour 31minute 00 seconds.

The 2020 Olympics will be held in Tokyo from 24th July to the 9th of August this year.
