Corruption Perception Index 2019: India slips two positions to 80th rank

Transparency International has launched this index on January 23, 2020, based on data collected in 2019.

Transparency International released the report of this index during the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

India slipped two positions to 80th in the index while it was at 78th in the previous year’s ranking.

Denmark and New Zealand topped the index as they are the most honest countries.

India’s total score was 40 and managed to secure 80th rank.
