Amrita Puri was born on 20 August 1983 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is the daughter of Aditya Puri who is Managing Director of HDFC Bank (India’s largest private sector bank). She also worked in theater and her first play was Quasar Thakore Padamsee’s English play Retellings View From The Stage. Soon Amrita is debut in Bollywood with Sonam Kapoor starer film “Aisha” in 2010. In 2012, Amrita was featured in film Blood Money as the female lead Aarzoo. Amrita most critically acclaimed film released in 2013 this movie was Kai Po Che! In which she played role of Sushant Singh Rajput)’s sister and Rajkummar Rao’s love-interest Vidya Bhatt role. In 2017, She married with Restaurateur, Chef Imrun Sethi in a traditional Punjabi wedding ceremony in Bangkok.
Recently in 2019, She was seen on web series of Amazan prime video “Four more shots please!”. Amrita will be seen in three Bollywood movies Mental Hai Kya, Singh & Kaur, Shor Shagun Shaadi.
