Full Name: Vishwanath Sajjanar

Cyberabad Police Commissioner Vishwanath Sajjanar is an alumnus of JG College of Commerce in Hubballi (BCom), and Kausali Institute of Management Studies of Karnatak University in Dharwad (MBA). His father C B Sajjanar, of Pagadi Oni in Hubballi, was a tax consultant and social worker. Vishwanath's brother Mallikarjun Sajjanar is a pediatrician.

An IPS officer of 1996 batch, Sajjanar had shot three accused of an acid attack case in 2008. Social media users are remembering that 2008 Warangal acid attack case in this regard.
