Ripu Daman Bevli appointed as Plogging Ambassador of India

Ripu Daman Bevli, popularly known as, ‘Plogman of India’ was appointed as Plogging Ambassador of India by Kiren Rijiju on the concluding day of 50th Fit India Plogging Run in Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

Ripu Daman Bevli started plogging in 2017, started Fit India Plogging Run with the aim to make India litter-free. In about 2 months, he and his team have cleaned up 50 cities and covered over 1000km, collecting 2.7 tonnes of garbage.

Plog Run, launched on 2 Oct, is a unique way of picking up garbage while jogging and was added to the Fit India Movement as a unique way of combining cleanliness and fitness.
