9 November - National Legal Services Day in India

National Legal service day is celebrated on 9 November every year in all state authorities.

Legal Services Day was first started by the Supreme Court in 1995 to help and assist the vulnerable and poor people across India.

It aims to provide free, proficient and legal services to the people belonging to weaker sections of the society.
