The first National CSR Awards ceremony in New Delhi.
The awards has been instituted by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs to recognize corporate initiatives in the area of CSR to achieve inclusive growth and sustainable development.
Nineteen companies have been selected from a total of 528 entries.
These awards are the highest Government recognition in the domain of CSR.
The function was also attended by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. While addressing the function, Sitharaman appreciated the role of corporate sector for giving back to society.
