World Teachers’ Day or International Teachers’ Days is celebrated on October 5.

The aim of World Teacher’s Day is "appreciating, assessing and improving the educators of the world" and to provide an opportunity to consider issues related to teachers and teaching.

The World Teachers Day is commemorated by UNESCO since 1994.
