The sixth India-China Strategic Economic Dialogue was held in New Delhi 

The sixth India-China Strategic Economic Dialogue was held in New Delhi from 7-9 September 2019.

The Indian side was led by Dr. Rajeev Kumar, Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog and the Chinese side led by Mr. Heifeng, Chairman of National Development and Reforms Commission.

In the capital cities of both countries, dialogue is organized every year alternately.

Mutual agreement between the two parties:

They exchanged views on ease of doing business, development of artificial intelligence, high-tech manufacturing, and the regulatory processes of next-generation mobile communications from both countries.

He also stressed the need to promote cooperation in emerging areas such as waste to power, sewage co-processing with sewage, storm water management etc.

He agreed to cooperate in research and development to manufacture solar cells from alternative materials and to develop new techniques to improve the efficiency of solar cells.
