The Government of Maharashtra has decided to establish 'Swachh Bharat Vishwa University'. 

The Government of Maharashtra has decided to establish a 'Swachh Bharat Vishwa University' in Wardha to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

The university will focus on research studies in sanitation, hygiene and environment.

A committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Education Minister Vinod Tawde to look into the requirements of the university in the state.
