National Cancer Tissue Biobank- NCTB

National Cancer Tissue Biobank is a state-of-the-art non-profit community-based tissue bank.

It is a joint initiative of the Department of Science and Technology- DST and the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Government of India.

Biobank collects cancer tissue samples with the consent of patients to diagnose cancer.

The NCTB is the first of its kind facility in India and aims to collect cancer data to facilitate high quality of cancer research and research that can further improve cancer treatment.
