Ladakhi Shondol dance created history

The Ladakhi Shondol dance has once again made history as the largest Ladakhi dance in the Guinness Book of World Records.

408 women artists in traditional costumes performed the Shandol dance on the occasion of the annual Naropa Festival.

The 2018 festival has broken the previous dance record of 299 artists of Shandol.

Shandol is a famous dance performed by artists for the King of Ladakh on special occasions.
