Indonesia will move its capital from Jakarta to East Kalimantan
The President of Indonesia has announced that the country's capital will be moved from Zakarta to a site in eastern Kalimantan province on the island of Borneo.
The new capital city has not yet been named, it will be in the middle of a vast archipelagic nation and already has a relatively complete infrastructure as it is close to the cities of Balikapan and Samarinda.
