India ranked 9th in "Global Happiness Survey" released by IPSOS
According to IPSOS' "Global Happiness Survey", India has been ranked 9th in the Happiness Index out of 28 global markets.
India came down with a six percent drop (from 83 percent in 2018 to 77 percent in 2019).
Australia and Canada (86 percent) emerged as the happiest countries in the world, while Russia (47 percent) ranked the lowest among the 28 market groups.
India was also one of the countries with the highest percentage of adults who say they are very happy (28%), along with Canada, Australia and Saudi Arabia.
