28 September : International Day for Universal Access to Information

United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) observes International Day for Universal Access to Information (IDUAI) on 28 September every year.

The day was inaugurated in November 2015 and was first held on 28 September 2016.

2019 is the fourth year of UNESCO marking 28 September as the “International Day for Universal Access to Information” (IDUAI).

The theme of this year’s celebration: Leaving No One Behind!
