Retirement age of CAPF personnel has been set at 60 years
In an order issued on Monday by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), the retirement age of all Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel has been set at 60 years.
The Ministry has issued the order following the decision of the 2019 Delhi High Court.
Earlier, the retired age limit was only 57 years for the personnel and officers of some posts. While the retirement age of officers above DIG is still 60 years.
All personnel working in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) will now retire at a similar age of 60 years
