Pramod Agarwal is new chairman of Coal India

Pramod Agarwal is new chairman of Coal India

The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has chosen Pramod Agarwal as the next chairman of Coal India.

He is a 1991 batch Madhya Pradesh cadre IAS officer.

He will take over in January 2020 after the current chairman AK Jha retires.

Agarwal is currently the Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department in Madhya Pradesh.
