Intel launches first artificial intelligence chip 'springhill' 

Intel Corp has launched its latest processor, for the first time using an artificial intelligence chip.

The chip has been developed at its development facility in Haifa, Israel. The chip is named Nervana NNP-I or Springhill and is based on a 10 nanometer ice lake processor.
