Former Manchester United chief Eric Cantona will be awarded the UEFA Presidential Award for his commitment to helping improve the lives of others.
The award marks outstanding achievements, professional excellence and exemplary personal qualities of the player.
The 53-year-old, who won 45 caps for France, will be presented with the award in Monaco on 29 August.
Cantona won four Premier League titles in five years with United in the 1990s and scored 64 goals for the Old Trafford club in 143 matches.
