DRDO designed mobile metallic ramp

The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) handed over the design of the Mobile Metallic Ramp (MMR) to the military's structures as well as the strategic mobility of armored and mechanized units.


Secretary Department of Defense R&D and Chairman DRDO, Drs. G Satheesh Reddy handed over the design of MMR to Deputy Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Devraj Anbu.

With a load carrying capacity of 70 metric tons (MT), the MMR has been designed and developed by the 'Center for Fire, Explosive and Environment Safety' (CFEES) on requirements projected by the Army.
