Pakistan has been placed on the blacklist in the Asia Pacific Group of the Financial Action Task Force.
Pakistan is blacklisted for non-compliance and non-enforcement of safeguards against terror financing and money laundering.
The Asia Pacific Group of Financial Action Task Force (FATF) found Pakistan non-compliant on 32 of the 40 compliance standards for terror financing and money laundering.
The FATF APG met in Canberra, Australia and the discussion lasted for seven hours over two days.
